An Electrical Engineer is needed for a contract opportunity with our Tulsa, OK client and will perform power flow, short circuit, and facility studies in the area. Write reports to explain study results. Develop holistic solutions to interconnect customers, correct criteria violations, and address rehab needs. Present projects to internal engineering groups and support them throughout project development.
- Candidates local to Tulsa and surrounding areas. Will also consider Corpus Christi, TX.
- Job designation is Hybrid and will require one day a week working on location. The remaining days will be remote. The number of days each week working in office is subject to change.
Job Duties:
- Leads, facilitates, and coordinates work activities of others within the work group, team, department or other corporate entity as necessary to perform all routine engineering technology effort.
- Ensures all work activities are performed in accordance with the policies, practices, standards, and rules of the company.
- Develops input necessary to forecast costs for the routine projects, improvements requisitions, etc.
- Resolves and initiates solutions to routine and/or moderately complex problems which usually require additional definition/clarification before analysis can begin.
- Identifies problems that are beyond the normal routine. Seeks out opportunities and embrace new ideas and approaches.
- Helps coordinate the work of other engineers in an efficient and effective manner.
- May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform assignments.
- Applies principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals.
Requirements:
- Has typically acquired 2 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in a program accredited by ABET*
- Individuals with a Master’s or Doctorate degree in engineering may be considered for entry into the organization at this level.

*ABET – Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. Acceptable alternatives are (1) a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (non-ABET), plus a Professional Engineers (PE) license in any state of the U.S. or (2) a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master’s degree in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor’s program.
