A contractor is needed in Columbus, Ohio to fulfill the role of Recruiter. He/she will recruit candidates for assigned positions in accordance with company guidelines and governmental regulations. Processes candidates through internal processes.
Candidates will have the option to work from home each week on Mondays and/or Thursdays.
Responsibilities:
- Performs the following recruiting duties:
- developing recruiting strategies with the hiring manager to include a comprehensive recruiting and sourcing plan; conducting comprehensive interviews; completing background screenings and references; developing salary recommendation/offer packages and salary negotiation.
- Effectively coordinate recruiting, resume distribution and applicant tracking through online system.
- Proactively source candidates through networks, social media, retained and fee-based search firms, and other creative outlets.
- Ensure compliance with affirmative action and equal employment opportunity obligations.
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or business related field
- 5+ years recruiting experience
- Extensive experience recruiting IT professionals, global Sales operations or recruitment agency experience, and recruitment for various corporate and field functions
- Demonstrated experience with MS Office applications (specifically, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Understanding and ability to apply knowledge of Employment and related Human Resources laws
- Experienced in various recruiting techniques, including but not limited to proactive social media sourcing i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in various interviewing techniques such as behavioral based with ability to summarize candidates for hiring managers to achieve best in class hiring
- Strong understanding and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), metrics management, creation and adherence to service level agreements. Experience with UKG preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communications.

- Ability to keep up to date on talent market trends and provide recommendations
