Web / eCommerce Product Manager – remote

Level is seeking a Web/eCommerce Product Manager for a contract role to lead a special project that will facilitate the ongoing success of the corporate website. The Product Manager will serve as a key leader in helping to develop digital experiences that are purpose-driven and innovative, serving customers at key points in their journey online.
  • Remote position with up to 25% travel to location in Ohio
  • Can work EST or CST hours
  • 30+ hours and up to 40 hours a week, no OT 
Responsibilities:
  • Working with the Sr. Product Manager, Development teams and key business stakeholders to define and execute the vision for the web/eCommerce experience
  • Supporting a product roadmap and managing a backlog in execution of this vision
  • Collaborating with partners across the company along with external vendors to understand business needs and opportunities and translate them into features and enhancements
  • Partnering with engineering and systems owners to effectively execute against product roadmap and vision
  • Building a web/eComm program that uses data and measurement to ensure accountability to outcomes, impact, and ROI
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs
  • Work with multiple teams
  • Work with TPMS to understand what the road map will look like
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years of experience in a product owner or product development role
  • Knowledge of Scrum and Agile
  • Strong project management skills, ability to juggle multiple projects and work with a variety of stakeholders and teams, including business and engineering teams
  • Independent, excellent listening skills, inquisitive mind
  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks and switching priorities and focus areas as needed
  • Must be attentive for team meetings
  • Adobe & CMS knowledge
  • Asana, Jira, Confluence, Web knowledge
  • Strong project management skills, ability to juggle multiple tasks and switching focus areas
  • Familiarity with web and ecomm standards and best practices, including privacy compliance and accessibility principles, practices, and testing
  • Experience with accessibility, best practices or know of privacy compliance a plus
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles and design quality standards
  • Proficiency in the use of analytic tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Creative and customer-focused
