A/V Integration Technician
Columbus, Ohio-based firm is seeking a skilled A/V Integration Technician to join their team of expert designers, engineers, and technicians. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and skill with the setup, installation, and operation of commercial-grade audio visual systems as well as the ability to troubleshoot and solve challenges.

Required Certifications and Skills for A/V Integration II:
- Certifications:
- AVIXA CTS required (CTS-I preferred)
- OSC O-SYS Level 1 and 2
- Crestron Technician Certification required. Foundations of Crestron Programming (CTI Pl0l) preferred.
- Dante Level 1 and 2 required
- CompTIA Network A+ Certification preferred
- Ability to demonstrate competency and effective understanding of:
- Equipment installation, wire, and simple functionality check (power, signal pass/display).
- Equipment rack loading, wiring, and terminations
- Display mounting, setup, alignment, and wiring
- Surface and ceiling speaker mounting, cabling, and wiring. Understand direct drive vs. constant voltage, proper loading levels, and cabling requirements.
- Install, wire, and set-up room schedulers with connections to host
- Basic wireless presentation appliance setup and connections
- Install, wire, and set-up unified communication bars with host
- Understanding of basic network OSI Model, DHCP, and IP scopes
- Understanding of USB 0, 2.0, 3.x, A, B, C differences, limitations, and functionality
- Understanding of HDMI, HDSDI, VGA, DVI, DisplayPort connector uses and differences
Baseline Technician Qualifications:
- Ability to read wiring schematics, building plans, and construction documents
- Have a working knowledge of various construction methods and tools with an emphasis on structural and electrical standards for commercial environments
- Have no fear of working in getting dirty, working in confined spaces, or heights
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work
- Ability to drive a full-size van and maintain a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to lift large items up to 70 pounds, and 50 pounds overhead
- Availability for full-time work, both in the office and in the The vast majority of client sites are within 100 miles of the office.
