Administrative Clerk
The Administrative Clerk in this contract role in Melville, NY will support the Time-of-Day business reply card processing and other support work. Primary activities: scanning, logging, validating, and excel lookups for Time-of-Day postcards sent back with a customer action and reasons for action. Additional support work may be assigned based on the level of customers submitting these requests. Clerical/analytical other program support work.

Duties:
- The department the contractor will be working in handles most important programs from the residential operations side. This department is moving all residential customers to time-a-day from a flat rate and must make sure they are communicating with the customers throughout the whole process. Communicaiton includes 60-day communication with opt out reply to cards and emails. The contractor will be supporting this effort by doing the tasks below:
- Provide clerical support by typing & proofreading a variety of documents
- Sorts and files documents and records, etc.
- Receiving all the return mail and logging information in a master list in Excel.
- Log and record in Excel spreadsheet
- Scan QR codes and log into Excel workbooks
- Basic V-lookup in Excel (training provided if needed)
- Post and save information on SharePoint site
- Secondary task: Support program work, analyze information in Excel, sending out mailers
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to multi-task
- Needs to be able to use a tablet/iPad/phone to scan in QR codes, work through basic flows, and record activity
- Detail oriented
- Computer savvy
- Quick learner
- Customer service skills
- High school diploma or GED required
