Audio / Visual Coordinator

Under close supervision, the Audio / Visual Coordinator in this contract role performs work activities and projects requiring technical knowledge that involve the set-up and support of audio/visual equipment for corporate conferencing center and meeting rooms including routine inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure operational function of existing audio/video equipment in a safe, effective, efficient and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives.

Essential Job Functions and Tasks:
  • Perform varied assignments demonstrating technical knowledge and analytical techniques to solution of problems or analysis related to the operation of audio/visual equipment for corporate conferencing and meeting rooms.
  • Participate in company and contractor meetings covering outage/project schedule, safety issues and operations and maintenance of audio/visual conferencing equipment.
  • Apply problem solving skills to resolve technical problems and initiate solution techniques.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college or an Associate's degree with 2 years of experience in design, operations, planning, construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.
  • Local travel required to New Albany/Central Ohio area up to 20% of time max.
