Customer Service Account Rep is needed for a contract opening with our Gahanna, Ohio client. Supports client projects/technologies, and the Team using verbal, and written communication with the customers, and internal/external work groups to answer questions, provide meter/process education, and complete required system actions to achieve the goals of the projects, and team, by providing an outstanding customer experience while protecting the client and its operating companies from risk.

 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday Hours 8am to 5pm
Candidates must be local to Columbus.

 

Core Functions:

  • Handle customer calls
  • Schedule appointments
  • Handle/address smart meter install issues (ie. Opt Outs, Hazards, Meter Box Access Issues).
  • Attend required meetings onsite, and remote
  • Report Tracking
  • Safety Adherence
  • Duties as assigned

 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Call Center background as a phone agent that could include customer service, collections, and/or fraud taking both in, and outbound calls.
  • Minimum 2 years experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office with a focus in Excel, and Outlook, and basic experience with Word.
    • Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams is a plus.
  • Flexible schedule between the hours of 8am and 7pm with a core of at least 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday with possible Saturdays as needed.
    • This position is on site in office at the Gahanna location with potential to work from home-Hybrid.
    • This includes having the required wi-fi at home to allow working from home as needed by the client systems.
  • Solid history of job retention.
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, Management or other Human Relations or Marketing related field, or Associate degree in a study listed above with a minimum of 3 years customer contact experience, with knowledge of field activities related to the technical aspects of customer services and distribution operations, or HS Diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years customer contact experience, with knowledge of field activities related to the technical aspects of customer services and distribution operations.
  • Must possess a current Driver license.
