Columbus, Ohio client is seeking a Brand Marketing Coordinator contractor to support the development and execution of quarterly brand strategies and timelines for brand marketing activations across all customer facing marketing channels ensuring flawless execution is delivered.

 

The role will support the Manager, Brand Marketing to ensure the strategy and execution is aligned across all platforms and supports the development and amplification of the Styling Community. This role will be responsible for understanding the strategy, updating timelines & supporting executional tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional partners.

 

Key Responsibilities:

60% Brand Initiatives Execution

  • Executional support for brand initiatives that build and amplify the Styling Community including monthly brand events, both physical and digital, store openings, Dream Big Project and OOH activations
  • Support the Brand Marketing manager with monthly brand events by facilitating the execution of activation layers including in-store giveaways, offers and styling experiences
  • Executional support on new locations including launch + sustain support & activations for these locations
  • Build and support customer facing event communication through event platform including building event store lists to import, creating event pages and authoring for all brand activations (e.g. brand events & Dream Big Project activations)
  • Pull RSVP reports from event platform to share with cross functional partners and share in hindsights
  • Compile research around industry trends across physical and digital channels relating to events, brand campaigns, cause marketing (e.g. in-store activations, customer mindset moments, social trends) to help implement new strategies to strengthen brand identity and awareness and build and amplify the Styling Community
  • Support gift card allocation to stores and external cause marketing partners on a monthly and per event basis
  • Support ring code requests, legal disclaimers and JIRA tickets for all brand activations
  • Attend Project meetings and provide executional support on all internal related events and cause marketing opportunities
  • Track Project fundraising and volunteer goals weekly to share with key leaders
  • Complete disbursement forms for donations on a bi-monthly basis to key internal and external partners
  • Assist in collecting and organizing hindsights for brand activations
  • Ad hoc reporting to support various projects

40% Cross-Channel Collaboration & Executional Alignment:

  • Partner closely with Marketing Ops team to support timelines of upcoming Brand Event activations; sets deadlines, assigns responsibility and monitors for completion
  • Establish efficient project tracker and own timelines for all brand event activations, Project & store openings
  • Partner closely and build collaborative partnerships with key internal partners across Brand/Content Strategy, Social & PR Strategy, Performance Marketing, Store Operations, Community Commerce, eCommerce and Creative to align on all executional details for brand activations
  • Attend weekly alignment meetings with channel leads to oversee and consult on brand activation execution
  • Ensures all activity related to brand activation is clearly articulated to deliver on time with optimal execution

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Years of Experience: 1 – 3
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, reporting tools and overall system savvy
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently and effectively with all levels of the business
  • Ability to communicate a single source of truth between multiple departments
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent project management abilities; can drive forward multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Possess diplomacy under pressure in fast-paced culture
  • Experience working with multiple cross functional teams
  • Self-directed individual who operates with urgency, focus, and discipline
  • Marketing, eCommerce, or Merchandise Planning experience
