Our law client in Columbus, Ohio has a direct hire opportunity for a Non-Attorney Salesperson (“Dragon”) who will ensure successful execution of the pre-engagement glidepath, on-boarding new clients, and the post-engagement glidepath. Looking for an empathetic person who can show compassion to elderly clients. The marketing team generates leads and gets prospective clients in the office – the non-attorney salesperson can’t give legal advice, but can assure the client that the company can meet all their needs. Will train this person on their services and offerings.

 

**Onsite M-Th, remote Fridays – has to be in person for client appointments – may need to travel between offices (Lancaster and Dublin).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial sales conversations and initiate new client engagements.
  • The primary responsibility of a Non-attorney salesperson (dragon) is to handle a significant portion of vision meeting (initial sales meetings) and collect additional details about the family dynamics, goals and concerns, along with giving the PNCs an overview of planning options and getting the PNC to engage the firm at their next meeting.
  • Facilitate vision meetings with appropriate and desirable prospective new clients (PNCs) to sell legal services

  • Review information gathered from triage call and personal financial information sheet in and overview and quote plan in accordance with goals discussed in initial meeting

  • Be proactive and ensure overall quality of processes and workflow within the firm.  Collaborate with firm owner on practice improvements, trends and recommendations for enhanced client service or offerings.

  • Follow up with those PNCs who did not hire the firm during their initial sales conversation

  • Track and maintain metrics for the Owner re: conversions of PNC to Client, referral sources, and other key performance indicators

  • Utilize firm databases to manage client files and keep status of client notes and files current at all times in Actionstep.

  • Meet with clients, their family members to review plan options to achieve their goals. Reassure client of inclusion of discussed provisions, and answer questions.

  • Actively participate and meet regularly with the team on present and future practices.  Make recommendations for improved efficiencies.

 

Education & Experience:

  • The Non-attorney salesperson (dragon) should have at least 2 years of legal sales experience and 2 years of Elder Law experience.
