Level D&I Solutions is currently seeking a Technical Product Manager for a fully remote year-long assignment working EST hours. As a Product Manager within the Digital Platform Group, you play a key role by being responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing workflow and business processes, and writing user stories and functional specifications.

 

Minimum 1 year experience in Technical Product Management

  • Ability to learn new tools and systems quickly Strong leadership skills, demonstrated by experience at work or outside of work

  • Strong technical aptitude, ideally demonstrated by experience with technical tools, databases and/or courses in STEM Experience with Agile development and an understanding of the software development life cycle

  • Ability to build positive professional relationships, manage dependencies across teams, and distill information for technical and business audiences

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment

 

Bonus points for any of the below:

  • Scrum Master Certification or Product Owner Certification

  • Experience creating clear, detailed tickets in a system like Jira or Salesforce

  • Understanding of accessibility best practices and/or desire to learn quickly

  • Work experience in the field of education or EdTech Technical acumen with Excel, PPT, and image editing/manipulation (to create quick mockups)

 

Responsibilities of the Technical Product Manager:

  • Learn product management best practices from a Senior TPM who will manage and mentor you.

  • Serve as product owner for an engineering team that supports many of our internal and external applications, specifically related to login, registration, and eCommerce.

  • With support from the Senior TPM, assume the role of scrum master for the team by leading scrum ceremonies to maximize team productivity, help resolve blockers and dependencies, and enable sizing of work and task breakdown.

  • Draft agile epics and stories; maintain backlog with high-quality stories, acceptance criteria, and current priority.

  • Partner with engineers, user experience designers, and product managers to gather requirements.

  • Ensure delivery timelines and scope are well understood by team members, stakeholders, and dependent teams.

  • Manage defect triage and resolution in partnership with product managers, business partners, and customer support teams.
