Columbus, Ohio client is seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of the website rebuild project over the entire lifecycle of the project (initiate, planning, executing, controlling and closing). The project includes working on the website as well as digital campaigns and social teams.
 
**Ideally able to be onsite but remote would work. 
 
JOB SUMMARY 
  • Day-to-day responsibility for the smooth and effective running of the project with a focus on great delivery. To do this the project manager is required to have great skills in effective project leadership and an understanding of project initiation, budget control, project tracking and reporting, risk and issue analysis and quality assurance. With this in mind, an understanding of the principles of project management, appropriate methodologies and processes is vital.
  • Plays a pivotal role in bringing Digital Marketing & Communications (MarComm) initiatives to life.
  • Accountable for supervising, coordinating and ensuring the on-time and orderly flow of all requests for Digital MarComm support.
  • This is a self-directed position, responsible for the research, coordination, scheduling for internal and external partner and follow-up with various parties in order to successfully determine and meet initiative deadlines.
  • Establishes and follows processes to ensure all details for digital initiatives are clearly understood by all parties involved.
  • The position is responsible for project planning in addition to communication, problem-solving digital project lifecycles from inception to completion, including the tracking and archiving of completed jobs.
  • Partner with other team members in the Marketing & Communications division to plan, track, and deliver solutions.
  • Works closely with the Creative Services team, Digital Marketing team, agencies, and internal development resources to stay on budget and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, complex organization.
  • Ensures quality of all materials produced and superior customer service to meet the client standards. 
  • This position effectively manages resources including timelines, freelancers, agencies, creative files, project resources and budgets.

  • Ability to prioritize work ensuring multiple project deadlines are met is critical.

  • This position requires a well-organized professional who is known for integrity, flexibility and energy.
  • An effective candidate must also possess sufficient digital acumen to understand the appropriate resources and resource levels required for a full array of digital initiatives. This includes an understanding of when to employ front-end web development, back-end web development, edits within existing site templates, copy writing, U/X design, graphic design, usability testing, information security, legal, etc.
  • Expected to develop expertise in the healthcare industry as well as continually upgrading their skills and knowledge base relative to digital production techniques, principles and practices and stay abreast of emergent industry techniques, trends and technologies.
