The Senior Implementation Director role with our Columbus, Ohio client is responsible for advancing programmatic and strategic growth through the implementation of civic engagement activities. As a member of the executive leadership team, this position will oversee the daily operations of the implementation department which include community and corporate volunteer coordination and the volunteer management portal.
**Estimated salary: $80-100K/yr.
Primary Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management
- Retain and manage the team responsible for delivering volunteer activities for the community and corporate partners, ensuring strong planning and execution of all events.
- Retain and manage the team responsible for the operations and maintenance of the client’s volunteer platform.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the Senior Development Director and Chief Operating Officer to ensure efficient cross functional communications and appropriate leveraging of resources.
Technology
- Oversee technology KPI’s and platform upgrades and additions.
- Ensure consistent utilization of internal CRM systems for record keeping and reporting.
Strategy Delivery
- Responsible for the implementation strategy, execution, and results for corporate and community volunteer programs.
- Establish strategic priorities that will sustain meaningful connections with community and corporate stakeholders.
- Utilize surveys and reporting to assess the quality of the volunteer experience and make necessary programmatic changes.
- Produce accurate and timely volunteer activity data for client leadership and external partners.
- Implement strategy to provide volunteer services in additional cities across the country.
The Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role in a social impact organization, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience leading high-performing teams.
- Experience in community events and civic engagement.
- Strategic collaboration with the ability to allow teams to do their best work and support their efforts.
- Decisive business leadership
- Experience working with both corporate partners and NFP partners.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with technology and platforms that support this work is a plus.
- Willing to travel
